Position Overview

Callahan First is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant / Office Manager to join our team. This role is more than just administrative, it’s an opportunity to support the ministry by ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a heart for serving the church community.

Role Expectations

Oversee and manage clerical staff, ensuring efficient office operations.
Perform bookkeeping duties, including maintaining financial records and processing transactions.
Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and expense management.
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and church-related information.
Learn and implement new software quickly for office and financial management.
Ensure accuracy and organization in all administrative and financial tasks.
Collaborate with church leadership and staff to support ministry activities.

 

Qualifications

Experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to learn new software and processes efficiently.
A heart for ministry and a commitment to serving the church community.
