Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.

What is GO Week?
GO (Global Outreach) Week is one of our biggest events every year at Callahan First Baptist Church. It is both an incredible opportunity to meet and hear from many of our partners in the mission of sharing Christ with the world, and encourage them in their work through Praying, Giving, and Going.
Over 20 Years of Missions
God continues to use us to reach others for Christ all over the world.
Throughout This Week
Learn of opportunities to be personally engaged.
Join Together
Let’s join together to reach the world for Christ. With God, this MISSION is POSSIBLE.
Letter from Pastor Lynn
We are looking forward to a great GO WEEK CELEBRATION! GO WEEK reminds us God has commanded all of us to be involved in taking His Gospel around the corner and around the world. This year’s GO WEEK will take place Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26. Our ministry partners and missionaries will be coming from every region. We will be refreshed by seeing partners we have worked with before and some we will be meeting for the first time.
In this brochure you will find all the information you need to take advantage of all the special events of this Celebration. Don’t miss any part of it! You will have opportunities to interact with our guest missionaries, learn more about their work, and be challenged to become personally involved in God’s plan to reach the world. Our GO WEEK CELEBRATION will culminate Sunday, July 26th when we will make commitments to PRAY, GIVE, and GO for the 2026-2027 missions year.
Please continue praying for this special time. Ask God to make this our greatest GO WEEK CELEBRATION ever and use us like never before to impact our world for Him.
In Jesus,
Pastor D. Lynn Hyatt

For over 20 years, this event has profoundly influenced our missions giving, fostering a deep-seated culture of generosity and active participation within our congregation.
Meet our Missionaries

Ways to Participate
There are multiple ways you can participate in GO Week 2026.
One way you can be involved in missions is to give to our Faith Commitment Budget. Each one of us can help reach out to our mission partners and be used to help them in their daily work for the gospel. Financial support is an important part of this work
Another way you can be a part is to commit to giving a few hours (as little as 2 hours) to a week (168 hours) to participate in a mission trip. Throughout the year, we have opportunities for you to go and help our mission partners with fulfilling their work.
Everyone is needed to be part of our prayer team. Be sure to pick up your personal Prayer Calendar that contains a list of all of our incredible mission partners. We are asking that you join with us to take time and pray for them regularly. Through our 8:26pm Targeted Prayer Times on Tuesday Nights, we ask you to also lift up our mission partners. On our new Missionary Display, in the lobby, you will also have the opportunities to see updated prayer needs that will help you stay connected.
Legacy Of Missions
For more than 20 years, Callahan has been involved in missions through Giving, Going and Praying. Everyone can be involved in helping share the Hope of Christ. Although we have been involved in missions for 20 years, we are not finished. We will continue to find ways to get resources to…
- Equip our partners
- Support our partners
- Work together to share Christ
Faith Commitment Goals
During GO Week you will be asked to help us gather our Faith Commitment Budget. This Budget allows us to support our missionaries, fund mission trips and provide needed resources to the mission field. Amen Goal is our minimum goal that we hope to reach. Glory Goal will allow us to do more and reach out more. Hallelujah Goal will enable us to reach out in the best way. Pray about what you can give… Together we can give more.

AMEN
$310,000

GLORY
$330,000

Hallelujah
$350,000
Praying in Faith
Prayer is essential for missions as it provides spiritual strength, guidance, and protection for missionaries, fosters unity and partnership between the church and those sent out, and opens doors for new opportunities to share the gospel. It reminds us of our dependence on God’s power and sovereignty, ensuring that our efforts are aligned with His will. Through prayer, the church supports and encourages missionaries, playing a crucial role in the global mission to spread God’s love and message of salvation.
Targeted Prayer Emphasis
Throughout the year, join us on Tuesday nights at 8:26pm to have a targeted prayer time, wherever you are, for our church, for missions, and for your own individual needs.
Prayer Calendar
Use the Prayer Calendar to pray daily for our Mission Partners. We have over 60 just in that booklet who need prayer on a daily basis.
Mission Display
Also, throughout the year, you will be able to interact with our Mission Display in the lobby and find updated prayer needs by which to pray over our partners in ministry.
