Position: Full-Time Maintenance Worker

Position Overview
Callahan First is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to serve our church community through hands-on work that supports our mission. We are looking for someone with a heart for ministry and the ability to maintain and enhance our church facilities.
Role Expectations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the church campus, including minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.
- Ensure the church grounds and facilities are clean, safe, and functional.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain maintenance records and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to support ministry activities.
- Lift and carry items over 25 lbs as part of regular duties.
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (over 25 lbs).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A heart for ministry and a willingness to serve the church community.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
